Overview

Little is known about the background of the vicious henchman known as ‘The Anvil’, it is thought that he had a career in security for very powerful individuals. His first appearance was as an enforcer for ‘The Announcer’, brought forward to coerce Starshot and force her into giving information. With nothing of certainty to give, she was at his mercy, and he broke her for it, exposing a cruel streak that few villains can match. A powerful fighter, he has a magic gauntlet to boost his strength when things get tough, though it is thought to be limited to short periods of use, and therefore something he tries to use sparingly. He makes enemies wherever he goes, and even when aligned with other villains his selfish and flippant attitude to their causes creates frustration and acrimony. Ultimately out for himself, he’ll stop at nothing to increase his power.
