John says:
Was extremely excited for this until I found out we were killing people at the end again. Whats the obsession with this lately?
Alex says:
Damn that’s a shame to hear ya I ain’t a fan of that either Ik other people are but would love to see more super squash videos and championship matches
ngcrisis says:
Hyperbolic nonsense. Also, I’ve had enough of people using multiple aliases on this board so that they can post catty comments like this one ‘John’. Stop it.
John says:
Other comments here are seem to be agreeing with me but sure, understood.
Bleh says:

I don’t. I didn’t necessarily view the alt ending as a “death scene”.
Choke outs are not that uncommon. Doesn’t mean death.
Terry says:
I honestly don’t mind it, I feel like it raises the stakes. Also I think it’s fine for alternate endings anyways
ngcrisis says:
There are absolutely no plans to suddenly do more deaths than normal, if there are more (or less) in the coming months it is just because that is what was written instead of a master plan to turn this into a snuff site.

Loved it!
The actress gives another excellent performance. I really hope we get to see a lot more of her, both as Miracle Girl, and as Alias 2.0
Diamond Jack is a really cool villain, and his use of games of chance is a fun gimmick, and makes for some great moments.
The Alt ending didn’t bother me, but I can see why some might not care for it
Overall, an excellent video, and I’m really looking forward to seeing her in action again 🙂
ngcrisis says:
Thanks, she’s doing really well for just her second video.
Dr G says:
The actress looks great as Miracle Girl. The acting and fighting by Miracle Girl and Diamond Jack is great. Liked the chloro, weakening dart and 2 X restraints. Not a fan of the alt death ending either but still recommend this vid and hope she is back as Miracle Girl ! 🙂
ngcrisis says:
Thanks, some will like, some won’t, I can’t do much about that. I’m not going to ban death endings, nor am I going to never do them again.
ceej says:
While it’s always exciting to see someone debut, it’s almost just as exciting to see them return! I hope we get to see more of her, and we got to see a more unhinged side of Diamond Jack in the end, which was an interesting character development (the obsession over cutting the cards made him seem like a batman villain)!
ngcrisis says:
Yes, he can’t handle chance not being involved, even if it makes his life harder.
Teo says:
Does this one have a backbreacker?
ngcrisis says:
No
Jared says:
I actually like the deaths for the alt ending, if the villains have the chance I don’t see why they wouldn’t end the heroes
ngcrisis says:
That’s fine, sometimes we will do them, but not very often because if we just kill someone every week it loses story impact.
Bleh says:
That was a cool video.
The Alias 2.0 actress does that Miracle Girl thing very well.
I know I, for one, would not be disappointed if Miracle Girl’s talents were called upon in a future Alias 2.0 video! 🙂
I liked Diamond Jack being consumed with the fact that she had to “play the game” in order to determine things to happen, too.
Oh, how very “Maniacal Comic Book Villian” of him!
I guess my only critique of the video, and it’s a minor one, was they almost seemed TOO evenly matched in the fight scenes.
I mean, Diamond Jack is, pretty much, just a normal guy. Miracle Girl, on the other hand, has actual superpowers.
It just seems to me, that in the fight scenes, he should’ve had to use more effort to subdue her…AND, at some point, in one of these of these videos, she has to have her magic belt removed, thus robbing her of her superpowers…but that’s for a future video and didn’t take anything away from this one.
Overall, very pleased with yet another stellar NGC video.
Thanks dude! -b
Dr Mabuse says:
I also really enjoyed Diamond Jack being thrown into a rage by Miracle Girl foiling his game of chance. Having a villain whose MO is an irrational fixation, something he’s so obsessed about that it drives him to murder (?), rather than just a silly affectation is much more fun.
I have thoughts about the relative strength of seemingly ordinary villains and super-powered heroines, although in this one it seemed to me that she was more than a match for him until he struck her with the weakening agent. From time to time it does feel like heroines have more trouble with ordinary villains than they should, but bad guys very often have some way of reducing heroines’ strength, as in this video.
This may not be popular, but I would like to see more heroines have weaknesses of some kind. Supergirl-types fall for green rocks, but other heroines don’t have similar vulnerabilities and the result is that villains tend to have lots of drugs and gadgets that overcome or reduce their powers. A heroine having a weakness/vulnerability that’s unique to them creates special opportunities for dramatic situations. Regarding the “magic belt” gambit, I actually think it’s overdone in SHIP fiction, but since NGC has basically never used it in all this time I would be fine with it, as long as it’s used sparingly.
33sp says:
That’s why I love Wonderstrike. Her strength is basically her weakness. Love her weakened state after the blast.
Dr Mabuse says:
Yes, Wonderstike is a great example of a heroine with a “weakness” that has dramatic potential. Her blast can end a fight or turn a losing battle around, but at the cost of leaving herself vulnerable if her enemy manages to withstand it. Also the blast radius can affect friends and foes alike. It’s a potent weapon, but using it can go wrong and leave her worse off. It’s a creative weakness.
Also yes, I love seeing WS and other heroines depleted and vulnerable.
Dr Mabuse says:
Some others like Supreme Sentinel can boost their power temporarily at the cost of potentially exhausting herself (Steel Sister and post-nerf Miss Freedom had similar things).
ngcrisis says:
I’m glad you enjoy it, one thing about this genre is nuanced repetition. Somebody needs to be weakened or strengthened in most videos, there aren’t limitless ways to do it, but it’s all in good fun. I can’t come up with 50 original ideas a year, wish I could!
Bleh says:

Yes, I would agree, but since Linda Carter, its become kind of an “iconic” way of depowering any “Wonder Woman-like” character, it just seems like a natural move to use it.
However, as you point out, sparingly.
ngcrisis says:
Yes, he did continually weaken her with things as it went along, if he’d not done that he would get his butt-kicked. It is kind of the nature of what we do. The heroine either faces a villain she is more powerful than, in which case we have to find a way to weaken her or empower them, OR, she is less powerful from the get-go and either gets squashed or uses her resources to give herself a chance.
