Overview
The Deceptress is on the verge of conceding defeat for humanity against the Superiors. With only herself and Starshot still available for action, she is looking for a truce to save lives. Her only bargaining chip is the Black Staff and she offers this to Harbinger for peace. Harbinger doesn’t want peace, she wants to destroy all heroines and sapiens. Erica believes Starshot will teleport the staff safely away, so when she doesn’t, Erica has a huge problem. Harbinger attacks forcefully and Erica struggles against her with her very life at stake against a proven ruthless killer.
Before this battle can come to a head however, Myanna arrives. It seems that there is a long history between her and Harbinger, and Erica finds herself being the plaything of two deadly villains. Only one of these three characters looks set to win this battle, with the two losers left in a dire predicament. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance as well, no battle could be more important.
