SEESAW: I.O.U – Final Previews

Out ALREADY for Members, Sunday on this website…. Patriot-Girl picks a fight with the Masked Man to prove she’s more powerful than Miss Freedom ever was in defeating him. However, he doesn’t take it lying down for long, and summons Nemesis using an old I.O.U between them. In classic ‘Seesaw’ fashion the tables turn violently as the cocky Patriot-Girl is humbled, being knocked out over, and over, and over again.

  • I liked it, which I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure if I was going to beforehand. Mostly because I was worried Patriot Girl’s recent actions would cloud my enjoyment of the video, but I’m happy to report that it did not (credit to the PG actress). The beginning was classic Patriot Girl, and the ending was something we’ve seen before from Nemesis, which was a nice touch.

  • Another great Patriot Girl video to add to my ever growing collection of ‘awesome appearances by said great actress.’ Fair warning: Patriot Girl glaze abounds.

First, I know we’re all here for the heroine in peril sequences but I quite frankly enjoy and appreciate when an actress is able to portray a heroine in a distinct way. And that’s something this actress has. Yes, a large part of it is the script and dialogue itself but her line delivery is the best there is. You didn’t even have to physically see her in the first minute of voice over to hear how it was dripping with arrogance and contempt. That’s acting.

Then you have the battle. A typical Nemesis production that follows a familiar pattern: Heroine meets Dark God. Dark god delivers an absolute beating the likes the heroine has never received. Heroine is defeated. Next victim. What makes this formulaic approach work for me though is Patriot Girl. I’ve just always felt that they way she sells a beatdown is just on the cusp of perfection. No over-reactions. No weird noises. Excellent facial expressions. Great vocals. Tons of variety in her reaction and lots of staggering in between blows. She has this amazing ability to make Patriot Girl go from overconfident arrogant, full of herself heroine to looking absolutely outmatched, overwhelmed and utter helpless through 75% of the video. Patriot Girl nails being a heroine in peril and videos like this are a prime example of why I believe she’s amazing at this.

The last point to make is the ending which I’ll be honest, was almost a disappointment. I’m not going to spoil anything but let’s just say I think Patriot Girl was let off easy thanks to some weird technicality in this contract with Nemesis. Thankfully though, we’re treated to one final and proper KO that saves it all. Because who doesn’t want to see Patriot Girl down for the count as the camera pans over her beautiful body.

  • Another sensational performance from Patriot-Girl

Happy to see this video getting a bit more feedback then the previous Seesaw videos were getting… I was starting to worry that I was the only one who enjoyed the Seesaw format.
But then again, the “winning” portion of this video was considerably shorter than on the previous Seesaw videos, so that might have something to do with it, and maybe I AM the only one who enjoys the Seesaw format, after all.

    • No, I can assure you there’s at least one more of us. I’ve long said that I like videos with “back and forth” fights so the Seesaw “up and down” is just my speed.

      • …and baby makes 3.
I like the see-saw, when it lends just enough “up” to the heroine to make her confident enough to continue the battle, rather than spending the whole time tying to figure a way out of a situation she discovers she can’t win through superior might and/or skill.
