Awesome. Lady X is probably the best actress and character both you’ve ever had! There’s a bravery to her character that is very admirable! The actress is just amazing at all the action choreography. Like those high kicks are professional level. And she is endlessly amazing at all the little verbal and body movement moments that sells the peril. I could watch infinity Lady X videos happily, and I love the implications of the ending. The other girls are talented too of course but I can’t help but have a favourite, that’s just how I am.
Tim Caine says:
I am in 100% agreement. Lady X has knocked all the other heroines off the podium. She’s not just my favorite NGC heroine, but my favorite all time in the genre.
Tim Caine says:
Well, I was anxiously anticipating this episode. (I very literally popped popcorn before watching it).
I have to say it did not disappoint.
– Lady X is amazing. She started out awesome and somehow manages to get better and better. Nobody sells a beatdown like she does. Very literally the best in the business … and that’s without even mentioning those abs. What ever the actress playing her is doing, she should keep it up. I mean, WOW!
– Patriot Girl – I love her as the arrogant mean girl. I really hope the tide doesn’t turn in part two. I’m totally enjoying watching her dismantle WonderStrike.
– Wonderstrike – Her fall from grace has been epic. Defiant even when she is getting her ass handed to her. We’re really not sure if she’s going to come out of this one alive. Which makes me anxiously anticipate part II.
– Killscape – Now that The Acolyte has joined the fray, (Great job, the way he came in. That was awesome.) I’m hoping the two of them totally take it to the lovely Lady X.
This is one of those episodes that made me really excited for the next part. Please tell me that part II comes out on Friday. I can’t wait.
NGC continues to be on a roll. Great job to all involved.

Did anyone else not get this week’s member email or am I the only one?

Absolutely awesome episode, agreeing with all the above sentiments. When Lady X jumped into action I couldn’t stop smiling. Now we have one hell of a cliffhanger to wait on, god damn!

Interesting interesting. I don’t want to lose focus already on this release (which is great), but I can’t help but wonder where it goes next. Could Supreme Sentinel and Echo show up to one (or both) of the battles? Does John Roman make an appearance? Will Acolyte’s true loyalties come into play? So many possibilities!!
Dr Mabuse says:
As others have said, this is an action-packed episode with two great fights featuring three terrific heroines and a captivating cliffhanger, but it’s also a story entry with consequential clashes. It hasn’t been that long since Captain Liberty and Ubiquity were murdered and the stakes are similarly high.
I’ve been anticipating a run-in between the Guardian Angels and Elite Force since the GA’s debut and Patriot-Girl v Wonderstrike pits the last Angel standing against the final face of EF, although it’s not entirely clear what they’re fighting about. PG certainly likes beating people up and is having a good time here, but she frames it as a reputational battle. Interesting that someone with so much self-confidence is constantly trying to prove herself.
I’m glad PG brought up the infection, talking about Wonderstrike’s legacy, because that plot and its aftermath still lurks in the background, even if Seth, Killscape, and PG’s personal crusades serve as distractions.
The Lady X-Killscape fight is far more straightforward. Killscape hates Lady X for breaking with him and wants her destroyed. I’m a bit surprised that Lady X holds up as well as she does against an opponent who’s immune to her power, but sometimes people surprise you.
Even though both fights seem all but won by the end, I’m worried about every heroine’s future. I’ve tried to discuss the story implications here without any spoilers, but I can’t wait to see what comes next and feel like anything could happen. Is Acolyte really on Killscape’s side right now? Will Seth catch up with his perceived enemies? Where are Supreme Sentinel and Echo? Will any other heroines enter the scene?

Excellent video!!! The Ongoing-Story has been a highlight for me for a while, and this is definitely giving off Season Finale vibes. There’s real stakes here.
Amazing performances from all, spectacular action… and I can’t wait to see what happens next (but I’m very worried not everyone will make it through in one piece)
Dr G says:
This one is pretty much all action. I agree with Dr Mabuse that it would have been nice to have had an intro between Patriot-Girl and Wonderstrike to set up some kind of framing of what was going on before the fighting started between both of them. Expecting that Part 2 will see major changes at NGC 🙂
Carlos says:
On the other hand, the editing of begining the Wonderstrike vs Patriot Girl already midfight with Wonderstrike just receiving a strike makes for better cinema.
